Greicius Lab
Welcome to the Greicius Lab
We study Alzheimer's disease (AD) and related disorders using a combination of genetics, transcriptomics, proteomics, and neuroimaging methods. Our goal is to identify and characterize novel genetic variants that contribute to AD pathogenesis. Much of our research is focused on subjects with extreme neurodegenerative phenotypes, such as patients with early-onset AD or people who remain cognitively healthy at advanced ages despite carrying 1 or 2 copies of the high-risk APOE4 genetic variant.
