Former Post Doctoral Fellow

Leigh Christopher

Leigh obtained her PhD in neuroscience from the University of Toronto in 2016. During her PhD, she studied the role of dopaminergic dysfunction in cognitive impairment in Parkinson’s disease using PET imaging. She then joined the FIND Lab in March 2016 as a post-doctoral fellow. She has obtained a CIHR fellowship award to study the role of common genetic variation in Alzheimer’s disease. Leigh is interested in combining genetic and brain imaging techniques to better understand vulnerability to neurodegenerative disorders.
